The Boat lite comes with 4 Stainless carriage bolts, light, housing, and approximately 1 foot of wire. The light can be spliced into your existing navigational lights, or you can purchase a complete wiring harness with your light or spice into existing trolling motor wires. The spot beams, and the flood beams can be wired separately to control individually. The red and blue is your positive wires, and the black will be the negative. The Boat lite is equipped with reverse polarity protection so you cannot ruin the light if you accidentally wire it incorrectly. CREE is the actual brand name of the LED bulb/ diode. Very happy with the light itself and the crush rivets - very bright and well constructed. However, I opted in for the wiring harness since I wasn't going to splice into existing wiring. The butt connectors that came with it had a bad connection and were NOT marine grade. I disconnected everything and went and bought marine grade connectors with heat shrink tubing. Additionally, the wiring itself is NOT tinned copper. These connections are sitting underneath a boat in a wet and humid environment. For a light of this price, I would have expected everything to be top notch for this marine application.

" The butt connections are not waterproof and only a convince factor because we recommend solder connection. We provide 3M marine shrink so you can waterproof the butt connections if you choose to use them. The wire is direct burial wire intended for underground and is multi started copper for harsh marine environment. Best light bar I’ve ever had on my boat. Love the housing it can definitely take a beating and the light is brighter than any other brand I’ve ever used. Will definitely be buy more Southern Lite products.
This light is working great.i have used it over the past 2 weekends during early teal. The light is super bright and very natural looking. My friends on another boat driving side by side marveled over the quality of the light.
Just got the light mounted with zero issues thanks to the helpful Youtube videos on Southern Lite's channel. Light was better than expected. I used to have a bowfishing boat rigged out with Seelites and I can tell you the quality of this light is 10x better. The light is also built INTO the housing so no one can come by and easily snag the light. If Southern Lite upholds this quality standard from here on, I will be a customer for life!
