When it comes to lighting up behind your rig there hasn't been a better designed light than the SLL Rooster tail lites. This light is far more superior than your pod flush mounts because, it has a much wider flood beam. You don't have to cut a hole in your boat, and can mount in a much smaller area. It also comes in a variety of colors. Also don't be fooled that these lights work best under the water, that is just how other companies have to cool their lights, so they don't overheat. The SLL Rooster tail Lites don't require submersion, they perform best mounted 1-2 inch down from the top of your transom. All pictures are from customers that mounted high on transom. Attaches to boat with two self-drilling screws. All hardware supplied. WATCH OUR INSTALL VIDEO

(Not made to be put on a dimmer switch)

    Best lights I’ve seen yet

Posted by Drake Lawrence on 2nd Sep 2019

These are one of my favorite things I have on my boat. They are awesome for backing in a trailer, or for just being able to see stuff behind you while driving. They are super bright, but also have a very good flood angle to see all around. I haven’t them with the wireless remote, and being able to do that without a switch and have different modes is one of my favorite things about them. I have recommended them to many friends because they are the best transom lights I’ve seen yet. Another thing that’s awesome is they don’t have to be mounted on the bottom of the transom to be cooler. This let’s way more light into the surrounding area and also doesn’t cause them to have to be submerged all the time creating more of a risk for the light. Highly recommend these lights or any other from southern lite because they are top notch quality and the light output is unreal.

    One of my favorite products

Posted by Corey on 17th Jun 2019

I had two sets of these on my old boat, and am definitely putting some on my new one! Had two white ones for backing up, and making sure my motor was alright. Very bright useful lights. Had green beside my breakaway, and that helped also. I could always count on them. They are very tough lights. Have hit stuff with them and no problems at all. Definitely recommend them.

    Rooster tail lights

I like the lights a lot. I thought I ordered the dimmer switch but only got a regular switch. Only problem I had was switch wasn’t labeled to know what went to what and I didn’t get a dimmer switch like I thought I ordered but may be my mistake.

I Installed these on my War Eagle. I absolutely Love them. I fish Santee and having these to see out the back of the boat at night is Great. I went with Blue and they work perfectly. Very Bright and easy to Install.

    Simply awesome

If you want your boat to pop at night, get yourself a set of these rooster tail lights. I choose green and rooster tail looks amazing running down the river for some night riding and gigging. Installation could be easier. 2 screw holes and a wire hole and your done. Couldn't be happier!

    Best lights on the market

Posted by Josh on 19th Apr 2019

We carry southern lite LED in our boat shop and I have installed these on a few boats including a buddy of mine’s gator trax, after riding with him at night a few times I figured I needed to try a set too. Put them on my trax and am still blown away with the quality and durability of these lights. Hands down the best and brightest lights on the market, regardless of what you use them for. Would recommend to anyone. SLL knocked it out of the park with these.

    WE Gladiator 750

Lights require drilled holes in the transom. Easy to install. I used a flinch mount switch and used in line fuse. Mounted high just below grab bars. Very bright and easy install. Worth it if you own a mud motor with reverse. Definitely not just for looks.

Plug Light Out, Rooster Tails In

Posted by Kyle Powers on 8th Jan 2019

I used a boat plug light for a while and I was unsatisfied with the quality of light I was seeing. It would cut out at times and was a pain in the a$$. I just installed the rooster tail lights and holy crap did that make a difference. I can light up the night them. Do yourself a favor and get these. It's what you want.
